If you are going to read this, you are most probably in that stage of life where participating in elocutions and essay writing and kabaddi competitions is today, and not a fond memory of the life gone by. Here's 3 days of sheer fun!
The Confederation of Voluntary Associations (COVA), a voluntary organization involved in organizing continuous beneficial programs for the poor and the needy, is organizing a 3-day youth festival in which different competitions such as kite flying, gilli danda, kabaddi, chess, carroms, khokho, slow cycling, running, singing, bait baazi, essay writing, elocution, musical chairs, chirki billa, tug-of-war, panch patthar and ashta chamma will be organized.
The festival is open for boys and girls of 16 and above. The last date for the receipt of applications is January 9. All participants will be awarded certificates, and there will be prizes for the top three in each competition. Please contact Arif at 457-4527/457-2984 for further details.
