Lili and Pali are casual bank robbers, and perhaps casual lovers. Yes, that's not a great start. And then things start going wrong.
The Hyderabad Film Club, in association with the Hungarian Information & Cultural Centre, New Delhi, is organising the Hungarian Film Festival, at Prasad Labs Preview Theatre, from 19th to 22nd April. Six Hungarian movies will be screened during this period.
Today, the third day, Who The Hell Is Bonnie & Clyde, by Krisztina Deak, will be the first film to be screened, at 6:00pm. The film has Raczjevy Ildiko, Karalyos Gabor and Gazso Gyorgy playing the central characters.
Lili and Pali are casual bank robbers and perhaps casual lovers, but the film does not give the audience an insight into these assumptions. With stolen money in their backpacks, they drift along with events.
Their lives turn into an endless series of unfortunate mishaps, without almost any real reason, and they are on the run. They are looking for places to hide - first in the hills, then in Miskoic. They then read in the papers that they are known as the Hungarian Bonnie and Clyde.
The film is based on actual events. For further details of the screening, please contact Bh S S Prakash Reddy of the Hyderabad Film Club at 2373-0841/93910-20243.
