Tuesday is the day reserved for Lord Anjaniya. Or as most of us know him intimately, for Hanuman. Kirtan Arts has organized Vandaneeyam Anjaneyam, a public platform to offer your prayers to Hanuman.
C Sarat Chandra will sing forty shlokas from the Hanuman Chalisa , in forty different raagas. Scribes Madula Nagamani Sarma and Samaveda Shanmukha Sarma will hold forth a scholarly discussion on Lord Hanuman of Valmiki's Ramayana. There is also a puja and aarti after the program.
