You can now savour some historical 700-year-old flavours and aromas - with traditional Mughlai cuisine every weekend at the Deccan Pavilion, at ITC Kakatiya. The timings of the buffet are 12am to 2am, and the special midnight buffet is from Thursday to Saturday, every week, for the entire month of July.
The theme of the midnight buffet is Tucy Great Ho!, named in honour of Y Masihuddin Tucy, a 5th generation descendant of the Mughal Emperor of India, Bahadur Shah Zafar. Masihuddin Tucy, now a food consultant to the ITC group, has researched his own ancestral cuisine in Central Asia and different part of Asia, creating exotic delicacies of the era gone by. The menu at Tucy Great Ho! thus consists of Shourbas, Kebabs, Qormas, Qaliyas, Biryanis and other aromatic dishes.
Along with Mughlai dishes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the restaurant also serves Oriental and Continental food on Friday and Saturday, as part of the weekend special. Oriental food includes a mix of Chinese and Thai cuisines.
