Tunes Cultural Association is organising a Revival Concert by Sanjeevani on 30th Nov '08 at Ravindra Bharathi. The concert will start at 7pm.
Revival Concert, is a revival Bollywood's old melodies. It will be a nostalgic evening of the black & white era, with Sanjeevani and Srinivas performing hits of Lata Mangeskar, Asha Bhonsle, Geeta Dutt, Shamshad Begum and Noorjahan.
Sanjevani is a renowed playback singer who shot to fame in the early days of her career. For Telugu audiences she is the Tooniga girl; she sang this song along with Usha for the movie Manasantha Nuvve. She performed many cities and this is the first time she is in Hyderabad..
Tunes Cultural Association was founded this year by Tanvir Baig, a fan of old melodies of Bollywood music. Earlier, they organised programs dedicated to the legendary music directors of Bollywood, Naushad and O P Nayyar. When he was a regional manager in marketing & sales for an MNC in Mumbai, he was the member of the Keep Alive cultural group, which worked towards the revival of the music of golden era.
Entry is by donor passes which are priced at Rs. 500, Rs. 300, Rs. 200 and Rs. 100. Passes are available at Sangeet Sagar, Secunderabad and Supreme Music, Bank Street, Koti.
