What's bigger than the olympics? Absolutely nothing. Unless you include Rajendra Prasad's stomach. Anyway, the point being - this article is cause for celebration for us lesser mortals - we actually get to run at the Olympics! Well, not exactly at the Olympics so much as for the Olympics, but even that is an honor.
The annual Olympic day run, which celebrates the revival of modern Olympics, is being organised by Andhhra Pradesh Olympic Association, Sports Authority Of Andhra Pradesh, MCH and the Education Department.
The run will be organised at six centres around the city, namely,
1) Charminar
2) Victory Playgrounds
3) YMCA
4) Mehdipatnam Crossroads
5) Gandhi Statue, Secunderabad
6) Bowenpally
The Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhar Reddy, will be the chief guest at the valedictory function.
