Cinema is usually a medium for escapology, we've all been there with that exact intention at several instances. But cinema is also a platform that reflects reality. And it is this reality that the Hyderabad Film Club celebrates all month long.
The club screens some award-winning, critically acclaimed documentaries and full-length international, alternate cinema. The French film, Faraway, kickstarted the gala, and the line-up is equally dazzling.
On the 14th is an Indian documentary, Our Earth, followed by the Canadian documentary, Dead Body. US documentary, Gaza Strip, is also being screened on the same day.
The other movies that are being screened are In The Heat Of The Night (USA) on the 21st, Night Shift (France) on the 23rd and The unbelievable Truth (USA) on the 28th of June.
