The Taj Krishna is old - it's been around right since the days when George Fernandes was still somewhat ethical - but it never fails to be constantly new in its offerings. Here's the latest.
The Taj Krishna is presenting a unique Khad food festival for a period of 8 days. The festival is based on the unique cooking style adopted by the nomadic tribes of India in the Northwestern Frontier, the Middle East and Africa. It will give an opportunity for connoisseurs of food to taste a large variety.
The meat is marinated and sealed in a clay vessel under smoldering fire to cook for long hours, thus retaining and enhancing the flavor and aroma. A special ambience has been created for the festival by having a customized miniature Tandoor to serve. Ashok Sangle, chef at the Taj Mahal hotel, Mumbai, has been flown in to prepare some authentic dishes for us.
