This artist clearly has a mind on the hyperdrive if his paintings are any indication. Swirling blazes of speeding objects, snapshots of things in motion, these are the dominant images you will see in Koushal Chaudhary's work. He is extremely versatile, dabbling in everything from papier mache work, architecture, sculpture and photography.
This particular exhibition at The State Art Gallery showcases his work in acrylic on canvass and revolves aorund the theme, The Inner Soul. Koushal's inspirations are his own personal experiences and understanding of nirvana. The paintings portray everything from moh, ecstacy, Sufi singers in prayer etc. and convey the message that the ultimate release needn't wait for the next re-incarnation.
His style is abstract and semi-realistic and is unique in its portrayal of motion and speed. This 38 year old self-taught painter from Jaipur is a State Awardee and has also won the Prasar Yagya, Advertising Club Of Jaipur, and the Kala Mela Award, CLKA New Delhi.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions across the country and designed the sets of many of them too. This exhibtion will be on till the 19th of February.
