This one's for cinephiles of the other kind. The IDPA (Indian Documentaries Producers Association), along with Hyderabad's acclaimed parrallel film club, the Hyderabad Film Club, is treating audiences to some riveting documentaries and short films. All for free.
The program will open with a 30-minute visual introduction of last year's IDPA festival, and clips from award winning documentaries of last year. This will be followed by the screening of film 'The Tree You Have Planted Has Now Grown', based on Kashmiri militants. The duration of the film is 58 minutes.
So stop cribbing about the pace and content of documentaries, and try to dwell upon the aura of these films. If you happen to get bored watching, you can always shut your eye - the entry is free.
