too gears up to garland its heroes of the silver screen - with the Ballems!

For the past seven years, the Ballem Venu Madhav Art Theater has been giving the Ballem-Best Awards for movies of high quality entertainment. And it has just announced the cine awards for this year. The prizes in the various categories for this year are:

Best Movie - Hindustani

Best Actor - Shrikanth (Chaala Baagundi)

Best Actress - Laya (Manoharam)

Best Director - E V V Satyanarayana (Ammo Okato Tareeku)

Best Comedian-Hero - Brahmanandam (Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi)

Best Villain - Prakash Raj (Badri)

Best Supporting Actor- Tanikella Bharani (Chitram)

Best Supporting Actress- Delhi Rajeshwari (Chitram)

Best Character Role- M S Narayana (Sarduku Podam Randi)

Best New Face / Debut - Richa (Nuvve Kaavaali)

Best Comedian - L B Sriram (Chala Bagundi)

Best Character Role - Ali (Nuvvu Vastaavani)

Best Directorial Debut -- G V Ramana Reddy (Real Story)

The awards will be given away at a function that is expected to be star-studded.
