Alliance Francaise of Hyderabad is presenting "Tales Of An Idyllic World", an exhibition of paintings by Bala Abhiram, at Alliance Francaise of Hyderabad, from 6th to 14th December, from 9am to 6pm.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr. K V Ramana, IAS (R) - Adviser in Govt. of A.P., Department of Culture. The inauguration is on Thursday, 6 Dec, at 6.30pm.
Bala Abhiram is the son of artist Bairu Raghuram, whose painting exhibition was conducted by Alliance Francaise a few years ago.
"I choose the subject of the village, its environment, lives of the rural folk, the sources of livelihood, and the socio-economic spheres of the rural life. I paint everything I see in nature: men and women relaxing, gossiping in the rural area. I am inspired by rural life, and study works by European, American and Indian artists," says Bala Abhiram.
