Ista Hyderabad is hosting 'Colours From The Streets Of India', at its speciality Indian restaurant, Deori. The fest will be on from 1st to 9th November, with food from a wide selection of chaats and goodies from various cities of India under one roof in a clean and hygienic setting.
The food festival is a collection of recipes of a very special cuisine that holds great importance to India's food culture - street food. A few of the preparations at Ista Hyderabad from across the country are:
Delhi and Northern India - Paani Puri, Aloo Tikki, Papri Chaat, Chola Kulcha, Paneer Tikka, Puri-Pethe Ki Subji, Jalebi, & Kulfi
Rajasthan and Gujarat - Paatri, Khandvi, Dhokla, Methi Na Gota, Pyaz Ki Kachori, Doodh Jalebi & Doodh Badam
Maharashtra and Goa - Paav Bhaji, Wada, Muska Buns & Chicken Kafrial
Southern India - Dosa, Appam n Stew, Kulipaniaram, Haleem & Biryani
Bengal and the Northeast - Jhal Muri, Cholai Paratha, Momos, Spring Roll, Sprouted Channa Chat, Misti Doi & Rasgulla
Guests will have a choice of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian street food specialities available at the restaurant, followed by a light main course and desserts from the counters. The packages range from Rs. 1,000/- for vegetarian options to Rs. 1,600/- for non-vegetarian options. This can be accompanied with unlimited servings of beverages as per the package availed.
