REVIEW FOR SONU NIGAM AT HICC

Dr. Reddy's Foundation, in an endeavor to perform heart surgeries on poor and critically ill children, is presenting a music nite by the top Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam, on 28th December, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Novotel Hotel. Also performing will be mimicry star and Tollywood comedian Shiva Reddy.

Since stepping into limelight with the hit number Accha Sila Diya Tune Mere Pyar Ka for the film Bewafa Sanam, courtesy Gulshan Kumar, Sonu Nigam became a singing sensation in the world of pop music and Bollywood. He has sung some of the biggest hits of this decade, like Yeh Dil Deewana from Pardes, Tanhayee from Dil Chahta Hai, Mera Rangde Basanti from The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Sandeshe Aate Hai from Border, Panchi Nadiyaan from Refugee and Satrangi Re from Dil Se.

He has completed a decade in the industry, and is amongst the most sought-after playback singers in Bollywood even today. His live concerts attract huge turnouts the world over. He has won at the Zee Cine Awards in 1997 & 2001, and the Filmfare Award in 2002. His pop album Deewana was a massive hit.

Shiva Reddy got his first opportunity on the big screen in a movie titled Pittala Dora, and thereafter acted in many movies like Bachelors, Amma Kosam, Anandam, Avunu Vallu Iddaru Istapaddaru, Manasantha Nuvve, Athade Oka Sainyam, Vasantham, Naaga, Nenunnanu and Stalin. He was felicitated with a Swarna Kankanam by none other than the Megastar Chiranjeevi for completing his 2,000th performance in mimicry.
