The modern society requires services in every aspect of life. Recognizing this fact, the Mayuri Kala Seva Samstha gives awards every year for excellence in various services. This year, the Samstha is giving the prestigious "Seva Ratna" award to doctors from Andhra Pradesh, for their contributions in medicine. Dr Dampat (Amma Hospital - Vijaywada), Dr Ajit Babu (Director, Amma Hospital), Dr Shankar Lal (Dentist -Vijaya Chambers, Chanda Nagar), Dr Ved Prakash (Orthopedist - Uday Clinic), Dr Vijaygopal (Medwin Hospital) and Dr Gangadhar Rao are some of the many recipients of this award.
The chief guest for this function will be Dr S Aruna (Minister for health, Andhra Pradesh).
Apart from the awards distribution, the Samstha will also organize cultural programs. Kuchipudi performances by Kum Ramya Sundari (Mayuri award winner) and a Carnatic music concert by Mr. Srinivas Sharma (Mayuri and Sujana award winner) are the main programs. A magic show by B Anand Goud will round off the evening.
