The deep blue sea holds great treasures, and when the best of them choose to show up on your platter in their best avatars, you can't help but dig in.
The Seafood Festival at Golden Dragon in the Taj plans to regale sea-food conoisseurs with exquisite dishes of the saline-bred, from 16th October to 24th October.
While the regular favourites like prawns, shrimps, tuna fish and lobsters feature on the menu, those not willing to tread the beaten path can taste the octopus delicacies.
You can start with soups like crab meat egg white soup and fish broth with pepper, and move on to starters that include wok-fried octopus honey chilli and crispy, soft-shell crab. They have specially flown in Chef N G from Hong Kong to rustle up specialities like Kungpao octopus with pepper, wok-feared salmon steak in honey-mustard sauce and steamed fillet cantonese style that form a part of the main course.
The sweet cravings are taken care of by Chinese desserts that include honey daarsan and a delectable array of pancakes.
