Ride To Moonlit Shamirpet Lake With The Hyderabad Bicycling Club

Clearly, nightlife in Hyderabad isn't all about jazzy interiors, techno house music and flashing lights. Get high right under the moon, with the Bicyling Club.



The Hyderabad Bicycling Club is organising a ride to the moonlit Shameerpet lake on 27th May. Attending members will meet up at the starting point at Apollo Hospitals, Vikrampuri, and the ride starts at 9pm. The route for the ride is through Cantonment from Trimulgherry X Roads, and will traverse the highway from Risala Bazaar Water Tank junction to NISA, and Shameerpet Lake. The total distance to and fro will be 45 kms.



Along with a bicycle in good running condition and with perfect brakes, attendees are also required to carry a helmet, drinking water (not less than 2 litres), some snacks, and spare tube/puncture kit. Anyone who wishes to join enroute can join by intimating the organizers well in advance.



The Hyderabad Bicycling Club was formed by a group of cycling enthusiasts in August 2007, with an intention to meet people, network and have fun. The club organises rides each Wednesday and Saturday morning, and plans occasional multi-day trips throughout the year in different parts of India. Some members are training to participate in special tours and race events. All levels of riders are welcome to join.
