A long-distance cyclothon, also known as the sport of randonneuring, will be carried out from Hyderabad to Armoor (Nizamabad) from December 3 to 4. Registration will close on December 1 at 9 pm. All participants shall meet up at St. Martin's Engineering College before 4 pm.
A Brevet or Brevet de Randonneur is an organized long-distance bicycle ride in the sport of Randonneuring.
In a Brevet, cyclists - who, in this discipline, may be referred to as randonneurs - follow a designated but unmarked route (usually 200 km to 1,400 km) passing through check-points and must complete the course within the stipulated time limit. These limits, while challenging, still allow the ride to be completed at a comfortable pace.
