Mohd Rafi and Gantasala under one roof? May be not in flesh, but their numbers will find an audience at the same venue, for the same program. Relive the past in the form of a musical nite being organized by Madhu Music Academy. This show is conducted in the twin cities on the 25th of every month. It comprises of mesmerizing, melodious songs of Rafi and Gantasala, two versatile singers of the last millennium.
10-12 classics of Mohammed Rafi, from notable movies like Baiju Bawra, Mere Mehboob, Kashmir Ki Kali, Mere Sanam and such others will be rendered by Madhusudan Reddy. He has more than 20 shows to his credit. The recipient of prestigious awards such as Apara Gantasala and Swarna Kankanam, Sharath Chandra, is going to sing 15-20 popular Gantasala numbers.
Prior to this, they gave private shows in the US, at Houston thrice and once in Los Angeles, Detroit, New Jersey, New York and Washington DC. They have performed in London and Dubai, too.
