The Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering & Technology is organising Pragnya 2007, a national level technical symposium, on 5th and 6th September, at the college campus at Bachupally, Kukatpally.
Pragnya is an annual event hosted by GRIET to bring out dormant talents of B Tech and MCA students. The event focuses on a few selected topics every year in various branches. It provides a platform through paper presentations, workshops, competitions and guest lectures to bring out special skills in terms of creativity, originality and ability to assimilate and synthesise new ideas. It also provides an ambience for students of various backgrounds and cultures to exchange their views and broaden their horizons. This year, too, various events will held in the engineering branches as below:
Bio-Medical Engineering

Presentations can be made on the topics of Bio-medical Signal Processing & Image Processing, Bio-MEMS or Bio-Mechanics.

Quiz regarding Hands-On Mat Lab, Signal & Image Processing, and A/C On Medicine.

Presentations can be made on the topics of Nano Technology and Computational Biology.
Live Projects Exhibition
There is no topic for the exhibits. Students can exhibit any of their models along with their notes.
Computer Science & Engineering/IT/MCA

On the topics of Parallel Processing, Data Mining, Grid Computing/Parallel Computing and Network Security & Cryptography.
