REVIEW FOR POCKET-FRIENDLY BUFFET @ STRINGS
Strings, the Thai and Chinese restaurant at Taj Banjara, is hosting a Pocket-Friendly Buffet from 1st August to 30th September. The buffet is on all days from 12:30pm to 11:45pm except for dinner on Saturdays, and for brunch on Sundays.
The buffet, aptly named keeping in view the recession, is priced at Rs. 400. It is a combination of Continental and Oriental cuisine, starting with soups and moving on to the main course comprising of 3 non-vegetarian dishes, and 2 varieties of rice and noodle items. The menu is changed everyday.
The rice menu ranges from Garlic Fried Rice, Tri-Colored Rice, Pepper Rice and Vegetable Fried Rice, served along with side dishes like Kumpao Chicken, Thai Green Curry, and Vegetable & Winter-melon In Hot Garlic Sauce.
Fish, Lamb and Chicken are constants on the menu. The desserts are an amalgamation of Thai and Chinese delights that include Double Chocolate Mousse, Bulls Eye, Assorted Flavored Cheese Cake and Date Pancake.
