How to keep a woman happy? Keep her waiting. That seems to be the message here as Women's Day is being celebrated and the prize winners are being kept waiting for a week for their due. Maybe all in the hope that the prizes will find a way to multiply in time. But a 7-day gestation period seems rather optimistic.
The Hyderabad Maanagar Tamil Sangham is celebrating the Women's Day amidst its cult with a Rangoli competition and prize distribution ceremony. The Rangoli will take place among the ladies at 4.30pm and will wind up at 6.00pm. The prize distribution will follow the Rangoli, at 6:05pm. The winners in this competition, along with those of competitions held in various other disciplines on the 4th at the Keyes High School, will be awarded by Haripriya Rangarajan, the first lady of the state.
