An exhibition of paintings by Ch Ravindra Reddy on Indian folk art capturing various moods of tribal women will be on for 7 days. Reddy worked in the film industry in Chennai for some time earlier, and is currently working as an interior decorator.
Reddy uses acrylic colors in his works, with prominent bright shades of red and green to make his paintings look attractive. The current exhibition is his first of the series of his paintings titled 'Awaiting', and is his way of expressing his gratitude towards his motherland. The exhibition will showcase different expressions of tribal women waiting for their lovers. Reddy sells many of his works in the United States.
