The desert isn't half as hostile as it appears, and there's a whole gastronomic world out there. Be transported there, from Ista's speciality restaurant.
If you have always thought of Rajasthan as an arid desert where people eat just dry food, you're in for some serious rethinking. The Rajasthani food festival "Padharo Mhare Des" might as well help you to undo this notion. It starts 8th September, 7pm, at the restaurant Deori of Ista, Gachibowli.
Rajasthan is not just about magnificent palaces, but also about a rich culinary heritage that has served the royal palate for ages. The food festival at Ista promises to be an interesting m?lange of Rajasthani cuisine and the region's colorful folk culture. So, as you dig into some sumptuous "Daal-Bati-Churma", "Gatte Ki Sabzi" and "Laal Maansh" (lamb meat), there will also be puppet shows, and Rajasthani folk music and dance, to keep you entertained.
Vegetarian thalis are priced at Rs. 590, and non-veg thalis are priced at Rs. 690 (excluding taxes). Please contact 4450-8888 for further details.
