The new renovated and renamed lounge of Hotel Green Park, 'Torque', is presenting DJ and VJ Nikhil Chinappa, this Saturday. Brought to you by Submerge, Chinappa will be spinning the best of funky house.
Chinappa is the country's highest-paid VJ, and has floored everybody with his music and dance jigs. He is quite a popular presenter among the viewers of MTV. He plays different genres of music, but underground music is his all-time favorite. He has also acted in 3 movies - Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana, Pyaar Kiya Nahin Jaata and Snip! - besides directing the music for 2 movies, Zinda and Chehraa. Of late, he has also been into DJing along with his fiance DJ Pearl, playing together with her.
Nikhil now plays regularly at clubs and bars in Mumbai (Squeeze, Aurus, Red Light, Seijo), Pune (Lush), Chennai (Speed), Calcutta (Tantra, B.E.D), Delhi (Elevate, Capitol, Rick's), Bangalore (Fuga) and Hyderabad (10 Downing street). Along with DJ Pearl, Nikhil is one of Smirnoff India's "residents", and freelances at other venues as well.
