REVIEW FOR MUSICAL NIGHT ON CHITRA
The ambassador of good music has dropped in town - catch Chitra being crowned again tonight.
The Alapana Cultural Organisation is presenting the Chitra Musical Night at Ravindra Bharathi today. This program is organised on the occasion of the playback singer's winning the Padmashree award. This is the first time Chitra will be in town after winning the award.
As a part of the felicitation ceremony celebrations, playback singer Suneeta Balaji is going to sing movie songs of Chitra. She will be accompanied by playback singers Kushi Murali, Ramana, Shahsidhar and Pradeep Menon. Chitra will be presented with Vendi Kereetam by the chief-guest for the occasion, Akkineni Nageshwara Rao.
The other guests include K V Ramana, IAS; actress Jayasudha; music diretors Koti and Chekri; DCP of West Zone, N Sanjay; and chief correspondent of the Sarathi School; Swarnasree. This program is being covered by MAA TV.
