REVIEW FOR CHITRA'S CINE SANGEET
Chitra is not satisfied with her Padmashree. She wants Ghantasala's bracelet too!
The Kalasatkar Cultural Organisation in association with Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha is organising the Chitra's Cine Sangeetha Vibhavari, at Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha, tonight. This musical night is being organised to celebrate Chitra's getting the Padmashree award.
Chitra will be awarded the Kalasatkar Ghantasala Puraskar Award, and will also be presented the Ghatasala Golden Bracelet, by the chief guest for the evening, Padmashree Dr. C Narayana Reddy. This felicitation ceremony will be followed by a musical program.
The singers for the evening are Chandra Teja, Ram Prasad, Ram Chandra Rao, Vijaya Lakshmi, Deepti and Sulekha Murthy. They will be singing movie hits of Chitra. Chitra herself will be singing some of her famous numbers.
This function will be presided over by director general of SPF, Mallela Subbha Rao, IPS. The other dignitaries include film diretor Muthyala Subbaiah, film producer Sravanti Ravi Kishore, music diretor Koti, and president of Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha, Kala Dikshitulu.
