The Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMDER) is organizing an exhibition and is conducting quiz and elocution competitions for its school students on the occasion of the National Science Day celebrations. The exhibition will have stalls depicting the entire range of the operations and research activities of the directorate, and will have on display rare metals and a video show on the field investigations.
The topic for the elocution, which will be held for students of classes 9 and 10, is 'Information Technology In Science Education'. A science-based quiz will be conducted for the students of classes 11 and 12.
Those interested can send their entries to Secretary, Publicity Committee, ADMER, 1-10-153-156, Begumpet, Hyderabad - 500016 before February 26.
All the events are open for the general public, educational institutions and R & D personnel.
