Iconart Gallery is presenting "Memories Of Another Day", an exhibhition of paintings by Konda Srinivas, from 12 to 25 December 2012, from 11:30am to 7:00pm.
Konda Srinivasa Rao was born in 1979 at Krishna Rayudu Pedapudi of East Godavari, and started painting since 1997. He drew inspiration from the works of the masters of the West that he saw in the Salar Jung Museum during his frequent visits there.
Rao worked in several institutes, doing reproductions of Ravi Varma and others. He migrated to the city not just to earn a living, but to pursue his creativity.
Rao calls his works "semi-abstracts", as he creates a point of entry into his image with identifiable forms.
