When Raghu (Venkatesh), a Mumbaikar, visits his grandfather's village, he is treated as a stranger there. He is unaware about the long-standing feud between his ancestors and their neighbors, caused by his own father's cowardice.
He meets his niece Manga (Simran), and it is chemistry at first sight. When his grandfather finalizes Manga's marriage with someone else, in a bid to maintain peace, Raghu decides to keep quiet.
The film boasts of an array of talented artistes including Brahmanandam, Rallapalli, K Vishwanath, Anjali Devi, Ranganath and Srihari.
