In these days of the television revolution, reading books seems to be a forgotten thing. More and more people today prefer television, videos and computers for information and entertainment. The British Library in the city has come up with an idea of conducting an interactive session with children, parents and counselors.
This evening, Aarti Kodali, a consultant to a leading daily, will speak and share her views on "How To Make Reading An Enjoyable Experience". The session will emphasize on encouraging children to read books rather than watch television or videos, or stay glued to their computers. Even the parents will be counseled and instructed to encourage their children to read more.
