This popular cultural organization has had its foundation laid strong in 1993. With a mission to give new artists all the encouragement they need, Sneharanjani has stood fast to its commitment in giving classical and folk music its due share of respect. A music composer since the age of 25, Snehalatha, the director of the organization, has personally devoted a lot to the development and progress of Sneharanjani.
In its mission to honor and encourage artists, Sneharanjani is providing a cash reward to three junior and three senior artists of the hundreds of artists who took part in the talent tests conducted by the institution. This particular celebration and felicitation is dedicated to the memory of Gidugu Lalitha (mother of Snehalatha), on her first death anniversary. An artist herself, Lalitha had worked all her life for the betterment of folk and light classical music. The organization wishes to carry on with that task even when she's gone.
