PREVIEW FOR HYD AND SEEK
Ritu Gopal, the small wonder, is all set to perform on the violin again. She started learning to play the instrument at age seven, under the guidance of Sanjay Marthand. The well-known city musician John Marthand is now training her.
A student of Class VI at the Sherwood Public School, Ritu has no problem in balancing her passion for music with her school education. She has also passed the Grade V violin exams conducted by the Trinity School of Music, London. A gifted musician, she has played on various occasions at many places in the city. She played at the Fete de la Musique, conducted by the Alliance Francaise of Hyderabad, in 2002. She is also part of the orchestra of John Marthand, and plays regularly in the church.
