It is a grave tale of misery in the lives of thousands who fall prey to trafficking in and around the state and the country. The anti-trafficking campaign invites every citizen to participate in this mission to eradicate trafficking of women and children. Most of the victims of trafficking are young girls between the ages of 13 and 15, which means there is a whole lot to be done, and very soon, towards abolishing this inhumane cruelty.
The Department Of Women Development And Child Welfare is organizing an anti-trafficking campaign. The campaign intends to bring about awareness in the people about the dangers involved in the flesh business. Apart from dreaded diseases like AIDS, this business also inflicts physical, emotional and mental damage and injuries.
The ten-day campaign will caution women from being led to such torture, by teaching them to be alert and vigilant. They will also be informed about whom to contact when they are in such kinds of danger.
