HCA A Division One-Day Cricket Tournament: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR HCA A DIVISION ONE-DAY...

Contrary to what most people think, the real life doesn't end after college - you can continue playing competitive cricket. Here are people who've only gotten better.

The Hyderabad Cricket Association is organising the A-Division One-Day Knockout Cricket Tournament from 24th to 31st January, at various city grounds. 35 club teams are participating in this tournament, divided into four groups as under:

Group A - Andhra Bank, Saroj CC, Khalsa CC, Osmania University, Galaxy CC, Sporting XI, Income Tax, Zinda Tilismath, and Balaji Colts. The matches will be played on 24th January at OU, Postal and PKMCC grounds, and on 25th, 26th and 27th January at Parade grounds.

Group B - State Bank of Hyderabad, VST, Falaknuma, Gymkhana Friends, Budding Stars, VIMCO, Nizam College, Gujarati CC and MP Colts. The matches will be played on 24th, 25th & 26th January at Gymkhana, OU and Nizam College grounds, and on 26th January at Gymkhana grounds.

Group C - BDL, Brothers XI, PKMCC, Amberpet, Vijay Hanuman, Continental, Deccan Chronicle, P & T Colony and Evergreen. The matches will be played on 24th January at Amberpet, Continental and Nizam College grounds, on 30th January at OU, Vijay Hanuman, Nizam and Parade grounds, and on 31st January at Parade grounds.

Group D - SCRSA, AOC, R Dayanand, Crown Sports, CCOB State Bank of India, Oxford Blues, Syndicate Bank and India Cements. Matches will be played on 24th January at Dayanand, AOC and Railway grounds, on 30th January at AOC, Dayanand and Parade grounds, and on 31st January at Parade grounds.

All the matches will be played in the knockout format in their respective groups. The top two teams from each group will again clash with each other in a knockout basis, the dates for which will be finalised shortly. The above teams have qualifed from the 2-day league and 3-day league stages.
