What do you call a man who takes VRS from a secure job to pursue a full-time career in singing? It doesn't matter - we hope his family didn't call him all the wrong things!

Archana Cultural Assosiation is organising a Hasya Cine Sangeeta Vibhavari, at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha on the 10th of October.

The performers, Suresh, Mithra, Rajani, Padmavathi, Padmini, Venkateshwar Rao, Ravindra and Ramanamurthy, will be singing songs rendered by Ghatasala, B Srinivas, Susheela, Jikki, Swarnalatha, Janaki, Relangi, Madhavpeddi Satyam and Pithapuram Nageshwar Rao. They will be accompanied by a musical orchestra.

Archana Cultural Association was established by Venkateshwar Rao in 1996. Venkateshwar Rao is a professional singer, whose took VRS from United India Insurance to pursue a full-time career in singing. The association is situated in Dilsukhnagar, and conducts musical orchestras on a regular basis in the twin cities and also around Andhra Pradesh. It has recently conducted a 12 hour non-stop musical night for which it has received good appreciation in music circles.
