Gallery Space is organizing a 9-day group exhibition of paintings by the renown artists Fawad Tamakanat, Pradeep Pottur, Harshavardhan, G Subramanian, J M S Mani, Kahini Merchant, Raghunathan, Chippa Sudhakar, Aparajithan and Uday Lakshmi.
These artists are from different parts of the country. All the works are figurative paintings on canvas. Most of them are untitled. These artists are experts in depicting figures on canvas, and the paintings that are displayed will focus on have human forms/figures, animals, plants, Nature, mountains, water etc.
Gallery Space, a decent-sized gallery with 2,000 sq. ft. of gallery space, deals in contemporary paintings, drawings, graphic prints and sculpture. It's situated near Lotus Pond in Jubilee Hills, and the atmosphere is also then tranquil throughout the day. Well-known artists like Somnath Hore, Subhas Roy, Jatin Das, Tumikuntam and Surya Prakash have exhibited at the gallery. Some rather beautiful paintings adorn the wall here. The gallery sponsors artists, as well as buys out paintings and advertises regularly regarding exhibits, so that awareness is created.
