Lekhini Association is organising a Writers' Meet on 13th August, at Kala Subbarao Kalavedika, the mini-hall of Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha. Many eminent lady writers will be participating in this meet, as below:

Lekhini Association was started ten years ago by a group of female writers, headed by Dr. Vasa Prabhavati, an eminent writer who has written several books including Velugu Vacche Vela, Deshbandhvi, Amma Kavita Samputi and Ammato Mucchatlu. The association organises kavi sammelans, kavi ghoshti and book releases featuring only female writers.
