Now, every school and college has an annual fest, but obviously all fests are not born equal. Some simply have greater crowd-pulling steam, and the NIFT Fashion Spectrum 2006 is definitely one of these whales. From fashion shows which are definitely going to be more faddy than other amateur ones, to craft exhibitions that are the real thing. Absolutely kosher style, fresh out the factory.
Check out the Hastakalakruti exhibition for one. NIFT students have gotten together Etikoppaka Bommalu from Elamanchili Mandal in Visakhapatnam District and Silver filigree articles from Karimnagar District. This section will be inaugurated by Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh Academy of Rural Development, Uma Maheshwara Rao.
Other attractions are of course Mr. And Mrs. Spectrum, and the fashion show on the last day which will display designer collections. So go join the fiesta at the NIFT Fashion Spectrum and goggle away at the wares on display while you have your blow-out with contests and games. It comes only once a year!
