After Modern Tales and The Menagerie, the French animation film festival presents Familiar and Unusual Worlds.
L'Abri is a 5 min 45 sec film by Amaud Pendue. After a supernatural world catastrophe, the Earth is swallowed up in mud. Survivors are confronted with the problems of reconstructing the society.
Ferrailles is a 6 min 22 sec film by Laurent Pouvaret. It is a story about a few strange people who spend all their time and effort making an old factory operate. One day a little green plant arrives, and trouble starts.
Derniere Invention is an 8 min film by Lolo Zazar. This man is quietly reading his newspaper. Slowly, familiar objects start to revolt, and his apartment becomes a real battlefield. His valiant struggle leads him into some fantastic, funny and surprising situations.
