Chitramayee - State Gallery of Fine Arts is organising an exhibition of paintings by Ramachandran Nediyanga, from 20th to 25th November. A specialist in landscape paintings, Ramachandran has exhibited his works twice at the ICCR Art Gallery and once at the State Gallery of Fine Arts, during this year. Of these, he had already completed 800 works, and intends to finish off the rest within a few months.
Ramachandran studied fine arts at Kerala School of Arts, Thalassery, under the guidance of T Anandan, P S Karunakaran and M V Venugopal, and has worked as an art teacher at K M H S Kambil, Kannur district. Currently, he is the State Secretary at the Sankamitra Fine Arts Society, Thiruvananthapuram. He has 29 years of experience in portrait painting.
