Sri Lankan artist Raja Segar is organising an exhibition of his latest paintings at the Alankritha Art Gallery, from 20th February to 3rd March.
His works are semi-abstract geometric forms, and one highlight of his works is his use of colours. He goes all out in experimenting with colours to lend his work a vibrancy. His work seems to be influenced by contemporary and abstract art.
Raja Segar is a professional artist and sculptor. Currently, he is experimenting with the refractive effect of light in his abstract and figurative paintings. He likes to work in watercolor, oil and mixed media. He also specializes in steel sculpture. He has had solo exhibitions in Australia, England, India and Sri Lanka, in addition to group exhibitions all over the world.
