Archana Sonti is presenting an exhibition of paintings from 16th to 25th February, at the Alankritha Art Gallery in Madhapur. Titled In Transit, the collection comprises semi-abstract paintings of water colors on Somerset and handmade paper. It is about a sole human being travelling and moving around in search of something or nothing, and that can be salvation, peace, happiness, loneliness or God.
Archana has done her BFA from JNTU, followed by an MFA from HCU. She has also completed a UGC-NET program on visual arts. The 31-year-old Archana has already been part of a multitude of group shows, 'Urban Metaphors' at ICCR Art Gallery, 'Art For Tsunami' at Grand Kakatiya and 'So Far So Good' at ICCR being a few among them. Her paintings are also part of many private collections.
