The Hyderabad Cricket Association is organising the Airtel HCA Cup A-Division 3-Day Knockout Tournament, from 11th to 27th February, at the Gymkhana Grounds and the RRC grounds. Five teams, SCRSA, Andhra Bank, Esconse, Evergreen CC and State Bank of Hyderabad, have been chosen to participate in this tournament, which will be held as per the schedule below:
11th to 13th February - SCRSA vs. Andhra Bank, at RRC Grounds
12th to 14th February - Esconse vs. Evergreen CC, at Gymkhana Grounds
18th to 20th February - Winner of 2nd Match vs. State Bank of Hyderabad
25th to 27th February - Winner of 1st Match vs. Winner of 3rd Match (Finals)
The matches will all be played in the knockout format. The teams have been selected from the 1-day and 2-day league of A-division. A-Division 3-day is the top league of HCA, and is followed by the 2-day league and the 1-day league. Members for the Ranji Trophy and other tournaments are selected from this league. The final winners will be awarded the HCA Airtel Cup for 2007.
