This event was supposed to be held on Women's Day, i.e. on the 8th, but due to some problems got postponed to the 15th. And given that, there is nothing much to say about this event, which appears like it is being organized by the YWCA just to make its presence felt around.
Professor Fatima Ali Khan, head of the Honorary Studies Department, Osmania University, will speak about the 'Women's Empowerment", and this will be followed by an ethnic wear contest for the YWCA members. There are about 150 women registered under YWCA Marredpally, and they all are participating in this workshop and contest, says secretary Sarada Israel.
