Taj Krishna is hosting a Dim Sum Fest at Golden Dragon, a Szechwan and Cantonese specialty restaurant, from November 27th to December 6th. The festival is à la carte and is open from 12:30pm to 3pm for lunch and 7:30pm to 11:45 pm for dinner.
Dim Sum is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a range of light dishes served alongside Chinese tea. Dishes may include meat, seafood, and vegetables, as well as desserts and fruit. The items are usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.
The à la carte menu consists of a wide-range of Dim Sums in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Bao Steamed Vegetarian, Plain Vegetable Bao, Spicy Vegetable Bao, Chinese Cabbage and Glass Noodles Bao, Steamed Dimsum Vegetarian, Vegetable Suimai, Mushroom Dimsum, Spicy bean and Chachay Dumplings, Deep Fried Dimsum Vegetarian, Fried Spicy Bean and Chachay Dumplings, Pan Fried, Vegetable Kothe. The non-vegetarian menu comprises of Bao Steamed Non-Vegetarian, Spicy Honey Chicken Bao, Seafood Bao, Lamb Bao, Steamed Dimsum Non Vegetarian, Prawn Suimai, Fish Coriander Dimsum, Chicken and Fresh Chilly Oyster Dimsum, Fried Pork Dimsum, Chicken Kothe and Lamb Kothe.
Chef Hung Fong Ng is also offering pan and deep-fried dimsums with exotic seafood fillings as well.
