The IIIT-Hyderabad Model United Nations Society is conducting a debate on the Israel-Palestine conflict, 8 January 2012, from 1pm to 5:30pm, at the IIIT Hyderabad Seminar Hall.
The first 4 speakers will be eligible for prize money.
The IIIT-Hyderabad Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations, that aims to educate participants about civics, current events, effective communication, globalization and multilateral diplomacy.
Students take on roles as diplomats, and participate in a simulated session of an Intergovernmental Organization (IGO). Participants research a country, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop solutions to world problems.
