Kalabhishek Parivar and the Health League are hosting an instrumental music concert called "Nostalgia", on 8 January, at the Keshav Memorial Institute Of Technology Auditorium, in Narayanguda.
The concert is a tribute to 4 legends of Indian cinema - S D Burman, Salil Chowdhary, Shankar Jaikishan and Madan Mohan.
The concert will feature Satish Khanwalkar on the mohan veena, and Prashanth Agnihotri on the flute. They will be accompanied by a team on the tabla, synthesizers and mouth organs.
Satish Khanwalkar is a disciple of famous mohan veena player Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Satish Khanwalkar has performed at "Tansen Sangeet Samaroh", and has also performed a Jugalbandi with Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia.
Prashanth Agnihotri, a disciple of Pandit Ramakant Patil, composed the album Nostalgia "Down the Memory Lane" with Suresh Wadkar, and has performed with eminent artists that include Sanjiv Abhyankar, Shankar Mahadevan and Pt. Ajay Pohankar.
The event offers 2 different donor tickets - one for Rs. 100, and the other for Rs. 200.
