Globalization is at the heart of the concerns of leaders and citizens in most countries. It affects us in our everyday lives and forces us to think about the future in a new light. The films chosen reflect the state of the current public debate, in all its complexity, and on major emblematic issues.
Darwin's Nightmare starts out with the makings of an African legend. In the 1960s, the Nile Perch is introduced into Lake Victoria in Tanzania. Now, the shores of the world's largest tropical lake are now the scene of globalisation's worst nightmare.
