When the seasoned performers would have taken their bow on this night, a young group will be making its debut, and for a social cause, too. It's the first show ever for 'Rhythms', and they are organizing this event in aid of various charities like old age homes, a blind home and an orphanage. This group consists of a bunch of youngsters, who will be exhibiting their talent in dance and music.
Four artistes from Mumbai will be performing on this day - Chandana Dixit, the well-known playback singer Abhijeet, an international stage performer Swapnil (remember the young mega finalist of the Zee TV show, Sa Re Ga Ma?), and Tejashri, a classical dancer.
More on the group - Suvarna, who is also one of the key organizers, Arthi Goswami and Robin will be the singers. There will also be one fusion dance and one folk dance. The special attraction of this particular show will be having a saxophone (being played by G B Thapa) and an accordion on stage, which is a rarity.
The compere for the show will be Suma Parakale (Ms Andhra '98). The set designing will be by Rashim Haldar (set designer for Femina Miss India 2000).
